And Jahaza, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath—This verse continues the listing of cities in Reuben's territory. Jahaza (יַהְצָה) was the site where Israel defeated Sihon (Numbers 21:23, Deuteronomy 2:32), transforming it from a place of battle into a permanent inheritance.
