If I laughed on them, they believed it not (אֶשְׂחַק אֲלֵהֶם לֹא יַאֲמִינוּ, eschak alehem lo ya'aminu)—When Job smiled (sachak, laughed, smiled) on those in distress, they could scarcely trust (aman, believe, have confidence in) such grace.
