And he discovered the covering of Judah (וַיְגַל אֵת מָסַךְ יְהוּדָה, vayegal et masakh Yehudah)—"discovered" (גָּלָה, galah) means uncovered, revealed, exposed. The "covering" (מָסַךְ, masakh) could refer to protective defense or the veil of false security.
